Community healthcare workers are role models:

  • Get fit and stay fit

  • Encourage your patients to get active

  • Suggest exercise breaks and nutritious snacks and water at all meetings longer than 60 minutes

  • Encourage patients to follow recommended activity and nutrition guidelines that encourage healthy food selections and moderate portion sizes.
